OUR STORY

not your ordinary developer

NDC was created in 1999 as part of a 28E agreement between the City of Des Moines and Polk County. The Mission of NDC is to sustainably enhance neighborhoods by serving as a catalyst for redevelopment efforts that focus on creating a mix of housing and commercial development through community collaboration.

"NDC takes the initiative to revitalize properties where most developers would not invest the time, effort, or resources needed because of hindrances from outdated infrastructure, old buildings, or environmental unknowns and liability risk."
